We love the look and feel of the Apple Watch. As we referenced above, it seems to be a contracted down form of the first iPhone, and it's reassuringly powerful - after nearly 12 months with the Watch, there no scratches on the body or screen, albeit the more brilliant of our two Game Band lashes is beginning to look a piece dingy.
Apple doesn't suggest dunking your Apple Watch first-gen in water. While the watch is evaluated as water-impervious to the IPX7 standard, which ought to mean it will get by in water up to a profundity of 1 meter for as long as 30 minutes, Apple portrays it as "sprinkle and water-safe yet not waterproof". So it's alright to involve it in the shower - as Apple's President Tim Cook evidently does - however being taken swimming is not.
